Artitecture

Artitecture. noun.

“I don’t build in order to have clients. I have clients in order to build!” - Howard Roark, The Fountainhead

The purpose of life is to experience, and to create. When we build, the creation becomes the experience.
Artitecture is the study and the evolution of man made structures, perfectly blending into their environment, harmoniously here to stay for the foreseeable future. Visually pleasing, necessity serving; man meets nature, as man experiences nature.

A reflection of the culture, ideals, and vision of the society during the time, decided what, and how, to build.

Only fate decides which projects see the light, and which die only as unrealized plans.

Imagine the construction of buildings, and the ecosystems each provide, harnessing, driving, and creating life. Imagine each of our experiences painting a skyline built of personal goals, ambitions, relationships and affaires.

Each thought. Each action. Each experience- Designs, architects, contracts, and creates our future.
The building becomes alive, a new form of functional, habitable beauty, changing topography forever.

Artitecture highlights scenes that otherwise would be overlooked. A new perspective on a familiar subject. Simultaneously blending into, and protruding from the environment, buildings give us a place to live, to work, to create, and in doing so become portals to all dimensions of experience.

Whether classic, contemporary, or futuristic, these structures often define the advancement and development of the human race, building higher, exorbitant, always reaching for the sky, and always pushing the boundaries of what is achievable. From an idea, to a sketch, to obstacles overcame, an addition in the city skyline - the development of these structures, and the observation of how they interact with each other, creates a scene in itself, and a new way of life. Sometimes abstract, sometimes exact, these structures and substructures change the topography and outlook of how we experience life. Each is proof to, and a teacher of what is possible.

Inspiring us to always reach, and build for new heights.

It is how life happens, it is life happening.

Out of necessity, we have to build. Out of destiny, we architect our dreams.

Phillip Silverstein
