Fiat Lux

“Everything is the Light“. In one of its rays is the fate of nations, each nation has its own ray in that great light source, which we see as the Sun. I am part of a light, and it is the music. The Light fills my six senses: I see it, hear, feel, smell, touch and think. Thinking of it means my sixth sense. Particles of Light are written note. O bolt of lightning can be an entire sonata. A thousand balls of lightening is a concert.. - Nikola Tesla

The perpetual study of light, the everlasting evidence of the art of miracles; Fait Lux, he said, and it was all created. The eternity of an instant, such light comes and goes, and is changing from moment to moment.

Everything happened just by coincidence and some big bang? Or by an intelligent design followed by inevitable chance, leading everything that was to become.
Either way, we all come from light, and will return to light. If it all existed, but in a forever state of darkness, would the flowers still bloom and would the birds still sing?
The Alpha and Omega of it all, is light.

Light is life, and everything needs light to grow and shine. All that the light touches is our kingdom.

Unlike plants that need nurturing, care, water, and sunshine to thrive, our earth needs nothing - just for us to stay out of her way.

Daily, she puts on a show for those willing to watch.
Chasing the light, Phillip’s camera shutter follows to capture.

This study of light showcases examples of extreme contrast, how different the scene is where the light touches and where it doesn’t, drastically changing the outcome of perception. As light gives life, it inspires, illuminating the beauty of the world.

Juxtaposing humanity, how bright it is for some, and how dark it is for others.

We are all plants, rotating in heliotropism to optimize the amount of light intake.

You are every thing, every being, every emotion, every event, every situation.

You are unity. You are infinity. You are love & light, light & love.

As the light leads the way, there are moments that do not come twice and Fiat Lux is the result of finding such light.

Phillip Silverstein
